The 2009 WSCC convention in Las Vegas was a fantastic event - a car show on Fremont Street, a trivia rally through the city, autocross, go-karting, drag racing, you name it!  The show, the raffle, and the silent auction raised over $3500 for the American Cancer Society!!
Many thanks to Paul Bloch and Hot Nevada Vettes for putting this event together and for their generous support!

There's something a little surreal about being under the canopy on Fremont Street - and what a great way to beat the heat, too!  Above, a longtime friend Woody and his wife drove up from Albuquerque to see the show and lend their support.
A lot of neat people stopped by my booth to share their cancer stories and/or their car stories.

What a great place for a show!  I think this qualifies as a "high visibility area!"

The Alexis Park hotel welcomed us with style, too.

Over 200 Vettes lined the street under the canopy and it was an experience not to be forgotten!  For more pictures, especially of the autocross racing, please visit this album on Snapfish.
See you next year!!
